What is Scova Labs?
Scova Labs is a software company based in Malta that makes decision software for football clubs. It sells three products as annual club licences: Scova Athlete for scouting and recruitment, Scova Squad Lab for squad availability and lineups, and Scova Partners for sponsorship. It was founded in 2026 by Adam Warrington.
Who is Scova Labs for?
Professional and semi-professional football clubs, from semi-pro and small-nation top flights up to Big-5 top flights and multi-club groups. Inside a club it serves scouts, analysts and sporting directors (Athlete), managers, coaches and medical staff (Squad Lab), and the commercial team (Partners).
Is Scova Labs the same as the Scova recruiting app for US college athletes?
No. That app (scova.app) helps high-school athletes in the US get noticed by college coaches and is run by a different company. Scova Labs sells software to football clubs.
Can I try it?

What does Scova Athlete do?
Scova Athlete is scouting and recruitment software that shows every player as a range of futures: rating and value as low, likely and high, with a confidence mark next to every number. It covers discovery on a talent map, shortlists, evaluation, signals on players you follow, registration and UK work permit (GBE) checks, and plain-English search. More on Scova Athlete.
What does Scova Squad Lab do?
Squad Lab turns a club's own load, wellness and medical records into availability, lineups, a six-game fixture plan and return-to-play plans. Each role sees only what it needs: managers and coaches see status and return dates, never diagnoses. More on Squad Lab.
What does Scova Partners do?
Scova Partners is sponsorship software for a club's commercial team. It lists everything the club can sell with a fair-value range, ranks brands by fit with the reasons written out, builds proposals, and tracks every deal to signature and renewal. More on Scova Partners.
Do I have to buy all three?
No. Each product is sold on its own. Squad Lab and Partners are 40% off when added to a Scova Athlete licence, and all products share one login, one contract and one club record.
Is it a web app or a download?
It runs in the web browser, so there is nothing to install on club computers.
What it costs
How much does Scova Athlete cost?
Scova Athlete costs €3,000 a year for a Scout grade club, €9,000 for Discovery and €24,000 for Professional, on a 1-year contract paid yearly, excluding VAT. Enterprise (Big-5 top flights and multi-club groups) is priced on quote.
How much do Squad Lab and Partners cost?
On its own, Squad Lab costs €3,000, €7,500 or €15,000 a year and Partners €2,400, €6,000 or €8,000 a year, by grade. Added to Scova Athlete, each is 40% off. Squad Lab is included with Athlete Enterprise.
Is it priced per user?
No. Each licence is priced per club by grade, and each grade includes a set number of seats. Recruitment, squad and commercial seats are separate pools, so adding Squad Lab never uses up a scout's seat.
Which grade is my club?
The grade follows your league. D Scout: semi-pro, small-nation top flights, lower tiers and most women's leagues. C Discovery: EFL League One and Two, Big-5 third tiers, other professional top flights and Big-5 women's top flights. B Professional: Big-5 second tiers and the top flights of Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium and Turkey. A Enterprise: Big-5 top flights and multi-club groups. The estimator finds yours by league.
Is data included, or do we pay a data provider separately?
The data feeds each product needs are included in the licence. Clubs never sign a separate contract with a data provider.
Are there discounts?
Paying yearly costs 20% less than paying monthly. 2-year contracts are 10% off and 3-year contracts 15% off. Five founding pilot clubs get 50% off a 1-year contract signed by 30 June 2027; the pilot discount is not combined with a multi-year discount.
What currency are contracts in?
Euro, under the laws of Malta. Pounds and dollars on the site are indicative conversions at fixed rates.
Your club's records
Who owns the data we enter?
The club does. The club is the controller of every record it enters, and Scova Labs processes it only to run the product. See the privacy policy.
Who can see medical information in Squad Lab?
Only medical staff see diagnoses and the injury log by default. Managers and coaches see status, return dates and load, and the club can narrow access further. Under-18 records carry extra safeguards.
Does this website track me?
No. scovalabs.com sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or tracking code. See cookies and storage.
Are the numbers in the demos real?
No. The demos use fixed, fictional players, clubs, brands and values, and each one is labelled as such. The full product is shown in a live walkthrough.
