Accessibility statement · updated 24 October 2026

Accessibility.

Our standard, where we are today and how to tell us about a problem.

01 · Our aim

Usable by everyone at the club

We want every page of scovalabs.com to work for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, voice control or high contrast. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind the European Accessibility Act and EN 301 549.

02 · Status

Where we are

The site partially meets WCAG 2.2 AA. We test every page in both light and dark themes with automated checks (axe-core), and by hand with a keyboard and at 200% zoom, before each release.

What works today

  • A skip link, a visible focus outline and full keyboard use, including the command bar (Ctrl K).
  • Light and dark themes, both checked for text contrast.
  • Animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Every drawing that carries meaning has a text description; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
  • Text reflows at 400% zoom and on screens 320 px wide.
  • Any page can be read in another language from the menu in the footer.

Known gaps we are fixing

  • Some charts inside the demos are drawn on a canvas and are summarised in text rather than described point by point.
  • A few small labels in the pricing estimator are below the contrast target in the light theme.
03 · Tell us

Report a problem

If something is hard to use, tell us through the contact page with the page and what happened. We reply within five working days and, if we cannot fix it quickly, send you the information in another format.

If you are not happy with our reply, you can contact Malta's Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disability (crpd.org.mt).
