About Scova Labs

Built for the people who decide.

Scova Labs builds decision software for football clubs: who to sign, who can play, and who will pay. Founded in Malta in 2026.

01 · The story

Why Scova exists

Every football fan has done it. Late at night in a game's career mode, you find an unknown 17-year-old in a league nobody watches, take a chance on him and turn him into a superstar. That thrill of spotting talent before anyone else is something the whole game shares. Real clubs chase the same feeling every window, but the tools they're given make it harder than it should be.

One system, not five

We kept seeing the same problem. Clubs run scouting on one platform, the squad on another, sponsorship on a spreadsheet and matchday on something else, each from a different brand with its own login, contract and data. Scova brings it together. Our products share one identity, one set of data and one place to work. Use one, or join them up.

Built for the clubs everyone else overlooks

The biggest clubs can afford the biggest stacks. Most clubs can't. We love the smaller clubs, the ones that keep towns together and keep the game honest. Scova is built so a club in a smaller league gets the same quality of tools as the elite, at a price it can actually pay.

Pushing the smaller leagues forward

Some of the best players in the world came through leagues most people never watch. We want to help those leagues develop, by giving their clubs real data, better decisions and a stronger case when a player moves on.

For the love of finding the next one

Identifying young talent is the best part of football. Scova is built around that moment: spot them early, understand them properly and back them with real, accurate data, not rumour.

Career mode made scouts of all of us. Scova makes it real.

I didn't wait for the door. I built one.

I grew up a fan of Italian football. Then my best friend would always chuck Liverpool on, and slowly it took hold. How could you not fall in love with a club that carries so much history? Since then football has been part of my everyday life, not a hobby I pick up at the weekend.

So when I decided I wanted to work in the game, on the commercial side, it didn't feel like a career move. It felt like going home.

I gave it everything for six months. I was on the phone with top-flight clubs. I built thousands of contacts, followed up, followed up again. People were generous with their time, and I learned a lot about how clubs really work. But the door stayed shut.

Then one conversation changed how I saw it. A director of partnerships told me that before a club considers someone for a position now, it will most likely check whether AI can do the job first.

Most people would hear that as a wall. I heard it as a brief.

If clubs were going to ask whether software could do the job, then the software they asked should be built by someone who actually loves the game. Someone who knows that behind every number is a player, a squad and a fanbase.

So in early 2026 I stopped waiting and started building. I'm a small island guy, and Malta teaches you to dream big. The goal was never a small tool. It was a top-flight product built to outperform what clubs use today, one that opens the door for me instead of hoping someone else would. It's no accident that Scova Partners came from someone who set out to work in partnerships.

One rule runs through all of it: real, accurate data from lawful sources. No rumours dressed up as facts. Football deserves better than guesswork, and so do the people making decisions in it.

Six months of calls taught me that clubs are looking for an edge. I wanted to be the person who gives it to them. Now, instead of asking for a seat at the table, I'm bringing something to it.

If you work in football and you're asking whether technology can do the job, I'd love to show you what it can do when it's built by a fan.
